The CA course one among the least expensive course in India. The total CA Foundation fees for the course doesn't extend more than Rs 2 lakh in India, wherein The total ICAI fee charged during the course is only RS 11300.

CA Foundation Fees Structure
If students are willing to take the coaching from the good institute than the Coaching fee of such institute in India is in range of Rs 35000 to Rs 50000.
Earlier the CA Foundation course was popularly known as CPT, which has been discontinued for Registration after June 2017, however, any student registered under CPT prior to the date course was eligible to appear for exams till May 2019. The registration fees and examination fees are the same for both the old and new course. But it is been seen that CA coaching classes have a different fee structure for Foundation and CPT course. The reason behind the different CA Foundation fees is because of the pattern of CPT exams, which was totally MCQ solving paper and was held only on a single day, unlike the new course.
The New foundation course includes 4 papers where 2 papers Principle and practices of Accounting and Business Laws and Business Correspondence and reporting are subjective and other two Business economics and Business Economics and Commercial Knowledge are objective type Paper.
The eligibility to the course is soon after appearing for 12th std exams and the passing criteria are having 40 % marks in each subject or 50 % marks in aggregate.
The CA foundation course registration can be done twice in a year on the respective dates i.e. 30th June and 31st December.
CA Foundation Registration Fees
CA Foundation course fees for Registration given by the student to register for the foundation course and the students are enrolled in the course after paying the registration fees of Rs 9000. The registration in foundation course id Valid for 3 years, which means that students can reattempt the exams for 3 years without paying registration fees.
CA Foundation Journal Membership Fees
ICAI has its own in-house journals exclusively for ca students and member. These Journals have updated information about the industry and about Foundation course. To be socially liable and support the go green movement ICAI provides the Journals online. students need to pay Rs 200 as annual subscription charges for these magazines.
The journal subscription is optional to CA Foundation students.
CA Foundation Exam Fees
CA Foundation exams are held twice in a year in May and November. And CPT exams are held in June and December. After registering for the foundation course, students of Foundation course also need to fill application form/exam form and deposit it online along with the examination fees. The dates for filling application form usually falls in the month of February and March. The ICAI also gives the option to submit the form with late fees of Rs 600 in case if students are unable to submit till the last date.
After paying the CA course fees for examination the student get admit card as a gate pass to appear for exams

(ii) INR 2200/- (For opting Kathmandu Centre)
(iii) US$ 325/- (For opting Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Doha or Muscat Centres)
Late Fee of INR 600/- for Centres in India and Kathmandu (US$10 for Overseas Centres) is applicable.

Fees for Reappearing Again for CA Foundation exams.
The registration validity for CA Foundation course is for 3 years and can revalidate it again by paying Rs 500. In a simpler word, you can try 6 attempts after your registration. In case if you are not able to clear exams after 6 attempts you can revalidate your registration by paying Rs 500.
Fees for Conversion from Old CPT to New Foundation Course
The student wants to change their course and register to the new scheme, they pay rs 500 for changing the scheme which is only possible if their registration is still valid. But after May 2019 attempt no registration is valid under CPT course.
